How Manchester United could line up vs. Leicester without Maguire and Varane
Manchester United are set to embark on a tricky run of fixtures after the current international break, with the game against Leicester on Saturday to be the first of several challenging games.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been dealt a huge blow in his bid to cement a settled backline into his side, with Raphael Varane set to miss the next couple of weeks with a muscle injury.
The 28-year-old sustained the injury in France’s UEFA Nations League final against Spain last week and will now be forced to watch on for the foreseeable future.
Varane’s injury adds to Manchester United’s defensive woes, having already had Wan-Bissaka suspended for one Champions League game, Shaw missing the same game and Harry Maguire also ruled out.
